The title launch is accompanied with a photo of Marc Webb’s (Ironic name for the director) imagining of the the Spider-Man suit that looks very retro and spidery, but unlike the Toby Maguire Spider- Man this film will  follow a young Peter Parker.

Spidy fans will be hoping for something a little better than the last Spider-Man film, which critics say was the let down and weakest point of the three films Staring Toby Maguire but with a new director on board, new cast and a fresh faced Spider-Man there is hope yet that this could save the name of one of Marvel Comics most loved superheroes.

Welsh actor Rhys Ifans who recently played Howard Marks in Mr Nice is set to play the baddie which should be an interesting contrast in roles.
