Jared Murillo

A singer in the Pop Group V Factory, also a dancer in High School Musical and dating Ashley Tisdale.

He is 20 years old and lives in Los Angeles.

He says about himself : “I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am the fourth of seven children to Alex and Robin Murillo. At age 5, I began to sing in church. I sang so loud that my teacher told my parents that "someday Jared will be in show business!" The next year, I started taking dance lessons. By the time I was 8, I performed with Donny Osmond, in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat production.”

 

“ I was the youngest cast member of the show. After a 4-month run, it was over and I cried, because I had so much fun and I didn't want it to be over. Three years later, at age 11, I was chosen to perform at the famous Suzuka Race Curcuit in Nagoya, Japan. I sang and danced my way through all the excitement and thrills of speed racing. That was a blast! At this time in my life, I wanted to seriously compete in ballroom dancing and become a national champion. (I had been taking dance lessons in ballroom since age 6).”
